Superhero of the Week and 100 Days of 1st Grade

 Caroline was the superhero of the week this week!!! She also celebrated 100 days of school in the 1st grade! She made the cutest like 100 year old  I ever did see :) 

Happy (early) 10 Year Anniversary!

Alan and I took a trip to West Palm Beach for an early 10 year wedding anniversary celebration. It was the best trip I could've dreamed of. We enjoyed it so much. We stayed at the Breakers which was beyond fabulous, ate the most delicious food, relaxed, saw Michael Bolton in concert (bucket list item) and truly just enjoyed being together without any interruptions. Blessed with his love for me. 

Meridian MS

 Well we got to desperate to leave the house in the long month of January where there is NOTHING to do that we tagged along to Meridian with daddy. He had a shift to work so we decided to go stay at the hotel and swim. It was actually really fun. Kids had a ball and it was a nice change of scenery for baby and mommy! 

Sweet Sibs

 Seeing all three of my babies enjoy each other and becoming friends brings my heart so much joy. Don't get me wrong. We have many moments of ugly actions towards one another but there are some fun, sweet moments too that make it all worth it.  Also, Caroline's obsession over Mary Alan is the sweetest. Of course John Collins loves her too and is always making her laugh by doing something goofy. But Caroline's first words when she wakes up EVERY morning is "Where is my, Mae?!" She wants to be with her and love on her all the time and I am so so grateful for that sister love. Praying they are the best of friends forever. 

Mae's first SNOW

 We surprisingly woke up to a good amount of SNOW this morning!! Talk about pretty. Something about seeing snow covering the ground is just magical. The big kids were at Lollie and Poppy's house but I took Mary Alan out for a brief moment to let her touch the snow for the first time. 

Skating Into a New Year

 The kids have been begging to go ice skating so we took them to the Pelham Civic Complex over Christmas break. They LOVED it. A few falls and a few tears but they both really got the hang of it. So much so that Caroline has asked to have her 7th birthday party there in a few months. 

Bama Basketball

 The boys got to go to a late night Alabama basketball game with Granmommy, Aunt Tracy and Uncle Oscar. They had a BLAST. Cheered and danced so hard that they passed out on the way home.
