Happy Easter 2016

Caroline sure did have a "hoppy" second Easter! We played with cousins, went to an Easter egg hunt, worshiped during a beautiful Easter morning service at Dawson First Baptist (which Caroline sat through and behaved herself the entire time, answered prayer), then headed to Arab and had a delicious meal at my Grandmother's house with family. We sure did miss Daddy but we are so thankful for the sacrifices he makes for our little family daily.

My baby girl in my arms and my baby boy in my belly. My heart couldn't be more full. (24 weeks)

What's Up Doc?! One Year Check-Up

Caroline's one year check up was a dramatic one to say the least! Caroline has become quite attached to Mommy and doesn't really like to interact with any face she isn't familiar with. That being said, I didn't get many photos of her at her appointment due to helping the nurse during her screaming fits. On a happy note, we have a perfectly healthy one year old who is growing oh so quickly and may just be the sweetest, smartest, funniest little girl in the whole wide world (says every parents about their kiddo, ha.) I managed to get a few "happy" pictures of her in the waiting area before terror struck.

 And the screaming began. We did manage to get her weighed. 20 lbs even. 52% for weight.

She is in the 57% for length and 50% in head circumference.

Reading about those mean ole' vaccinations. 

Praising the Lord for a healthy baby girl! 

And we spent the afternoon at the park to make up for our very unhappy morning spent at the doctor.

Love my girl. So so so so much! 

Caroline's First Birthday Party

We started off Caroline's special day with a birthday donut for breakfast! 

She didn't love it. But that's ok, Mommy and Daddy made sure it was not left untouched :) 

After a good morning nap it was time to party!
