All summer holidays must be spent at the lake....there is just no other place that beats it! Love making memories with family that we will remember forever.

Three and (almost) Two
Caroline Catherine. You are special. Always have been and always will be. You've had mine and your Dad's heart from the second we heard your sweet heart beat. Oh how we love your sweet heart. It is kind, caring, tender, and loving. You're full of personality and more fun than I could've dreamed. You make us laugh continually and you are wise beyond your years. Your independence is a good thing, although it is difficult to disciple at times. Growing up means more time outs and more lessons learned but it also means more meaningful talks and more bonding. Can't wait to watch you live your beautiful life. I love YOU. So much baby girl. So much.
Capturing John Collins at *almost* two years old....he is JOY. He loves all things boy and I couldn't love him more. He lives every second of every day to the fullest and is bound to have a good time no matter what. I love his love for life. It is contagious. If I could have a million just like him I would, or maybe I wouldn't because I can barely keep up with him. He's exhausting in the best way and I am grateful to our Lord for making him mine. Wanting time to stand still but realizing that he is growing up right in front of my eyes.

Mother's Day Weekend 2018
Best it gets with a 1 and 3 year old .. Happy Mother's Day to me :)
Happy7th Birthday to Anna Scott!!! Little family celebration while we were all together. Can't believe our first born baby girl is 7. She is so special to us!
After our little retreat with my family, we drove around the lake to celebrate Mother's Day with Alan's family! We all had a blast! Lake life truly is the best life. (And shame on me for not getting ANY pics of the mother's that we love so very much ... must do better next year!!) 
Can't wait to fill our summer days at Lake Martin!
