Introducing....
Emme Cease
Alan has been begging politely asking for a dog since we got married. We are both dog lovers but my allergies don't exactly agree with my obsession. We both grew up with dogs in our family and wanted to continue the tradition with our own little family, but I told Alan that I just didn't think it was a good idea to get a dog considering the long hours that we work and I'm allergic to most dogs. Well.......I folded. I found little Miss Emme and surprised Alan with her one night after he got home from work! She is a cavapoo (mix between a king charles cavalier spaniel and a poodle) and will be about 20 lbs. I wanted to wait and give Alan a puppy on Christmas Day but she was exactly what we were looking for and was ready to be picked up so Christmas came early for Alan. We are slightly obsessed with Emme and she has us wrapped around her little paws :)
Alan and I hosted a "Friendsgiving" Pot-Luck dinner at our house this past weekend. We had an abundance of delicious food and it was great to spend some quality time with sweet friends.

The past few days I have been reflecting on all the things that I have to be thankful for. God is so faithful and His promises never fail. Thank you God for watching over me each and every day and for loving me unconditionally.
I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you get to spend time with the ones you love!
