Family Pictures

The Stewarts, Laneys, and Ceases braved family pictures! With a five year old and three kids under two years old it was a challenge to say the least. (Insert scary face) There may have only been a handful that didn't have a child screaming or an adult trying to get a child to look at the camera but we got a few good ones to make our efforts worthwhile!
William 18mos, Anna Scott 5yrs, John Collins 4mos, Caroline 21mos
I didn't get a professional picture of my kids together since Caroline couldn't hold John Collins safely. So I played photographer on our couch to get a picture of just the two of them :)
I will forever cherish these pictures of my family.

Happy FIVE Months, John Collins!

What a sweet season it has been celebrating the holidays with you! Your sweetness is contagious and with each and every grin I fall more in love with you. You may have stopped sleeping through the night and you may want to be held AND walked every night for two hours but we can't get enough of your sweet loving.
You are growing like a weed! Every morning you seem bigger than the night before.  I predict you will be bigger than your "big" in a matter of months. You're already in 6-9 month clothing. I could eat every single roll on your squishy body right up!
Trying to embrace tummy time! You rolled over the day before your 5 month birthday!
Loving bath time these days......
And the naps after bath time even better!
We LOVE you, our BIG BABY BOY!

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

We are getting into the Christmas spirit despite the fact that we recently found out we would not be able to move into our new home until after the holidays. We were really looking forward to the having our first Christmas with both kids in the house. As disappointing as this news is, we are keeping things in perspective and we are blessed to be able to be together and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus, our Savior and Lord.  This week I plan on going out and getting a few decorations to make our cozy little apartment have some Christmas cheer! In the mean time Caroline has enjoyed some Christmas fun at Lollie and Poppie's as well as my sister's house.

Caroline's tent at Lollie and Poppie's house is decorated for Christmas! She loved the lights  and mini Christmas tree inside.
She's also been a big help putting up Christmas decorations with Lollie.
Will and Caroline are beginning to interact more and more. Sometimes it is very cute and sometimes it is not so cute. ha! We will have to keep a close eye on these two throughout the upcoming years. I have a feeling they are going to be a MESS together.
This Christmas is going to be so much fun with FOUR little ones.
Caroline is already obsessed with baby dolls. Good thing she has a real life baby doll to play with!
Grandmommy bought the grandchildren magic wands to turn on and off the Christmas tree lights. The kids are LOVING it! So magical!
John Collins giving GG lots of giggles!
We've enjoyed a couple of rainy lazy days spent in Christmas pajamas, watching Christmas movies, and reading Christmas stories!
On December 4th we attended Dawson First Baptist Church Christmas program. The songs were beautifully sung and Christmas joy filled our hearts.
Caroline (21 mo) and John Collins (4.5 months)
May your days be merry and bright throughout this Christmas season!

Give Thanks

Thanksgiving 2016
We enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving lunch at Shoal Creek with Alan's family and then headed to my Grandmother's house in Arab for Thanksgiving dinner with my family.

Below are some pictures taken throughout the month of November. So much to be thankful for.
All dressed and ready for church!
Walking to lunch with her big cousin after church! She would only hold Anna Scott's hand.
Ring around the rosies!
Bedtimes stories with Daddy.
Tea Party Time
Sweet mornings in our PJs
Big girl headed to school one morning
Admiring herself in the mirror and saying "I so pittty (pretty)" after trying on her new dress and shoes. (20 months)
Watching "toons" a new favorite of hers. She also love coloring, reading books, playing with toothbrushes, bath time, yogurt drinks, and strawberry milk.
Mommy and Caroline worked on a Thanksgiving craft and listed things that we are thankful for.
