Happy 80th Birthday to our GG!!!

My grandmother, the kids GG, celebrated her 80th birthday with a surprise party!!! My mom and Aunt Tracy pulled it off flawlessly and she was happily surrounded by her loving family.  She was shocked and it was such a great night!!! We gifted her with a girls trip to the mountains. It was such a sweet time. Thankful and so blessed to have her in my life and the memories I have with her throughout my childhood are forever remembered as some of my happiest times. She truly loves so deep and we are so grateful she is ours. My kids are just as crazy about her as I am! It's a gift to watch her interact with them and for them to make memories with her, just as I have.
We love you more than all the stars.......

I'll always remember you this way......

These pictures sum up this age. These days. This time in our lives. It is hard, exhausting, tiring, and challenging. But oh it is so sweet, so pure, so innocent, and full of LOVE. May I always remember them this way. So happy, full of life, full of adventure, and a heart of love for their momma!

Cousin Saturday and Dawson Family Night

We had the Laney's out to our house for pizza, football, fishing, and FUN! Great way to spend a Saturday.
An extra fun even at Dawson!!! Always blown away by the activities the preschool ministry has for our children to learn about God and his creation

Purcell Farms and Last Lake Weekend

Alan and I had a wonderful getaway with friends at Purcell farms. It was full of laughter, yummy food, resting, and fun activities! Can't wait to go back.
After Purcell, we went to Lake Martin for our last weekend of the summer. Always so bittersweet. We LOVE our time at the lake and are always sad when it comes to and end for the year but looking into a cooler season and holidays keeps our spirits up!
This lake trip was extra special because these two kiddos got the sweetest presents from Uncle Ed and Aunt Megs asking them to be their flower girl and ring bearer in their wedding. Cannot wait!
It was also the first time that the kids went fishing and Caroline actually caught her first fish!!!!!!!!!! A little hesitant to touch it at first but SO proud of her!
Until nest time Lake Martin....we will be dreaming of next summer until then.
