Thanksgiving 2017

Alan and I hosted Thanksgiving lunch  for my family this year. It was so special to have my loved ones all in our home at one time to give thanks. We have so very much to be thankful for and we thank our Heavenly Father first and foremost for all the blessings in our life. We are undeserving of it all. And when I start to give thanks....these three are at the very top of my list.
So special having my great-grandmother with us to love on her great-great grandchildren. She is the reason why my family is so close and we love her so.
Kids table :)
We also enjoyed a wonderful day after Thanksgiving lunch with the Cease crew! We sure are thankful for them!

Caroline's First Bama Game

Caroline enjoyed her first Tuscaloosa game day experience! The Tide won and she got to play with her cousins. Perfect day! She did much better than we anticipated her doing during the game and enjoyed dancing with the band. She enjoyed a big pretzel from the concession stand and shook her pom-pom continuously :) We can't wait for more fun game days in the future!

Growing up

Caroline recently made the transition to her big girl bed! She started crawling out of her crib in the middle of the night so we knew that the time had come. After only a couple rough nights and difficult nap times, she transitioned so well and now LOVES to sleep in her bed. We are so proud of her. I must admit, when I look on the monitor it makes me a little sad not to see her in her crib anymore. Just a reminder of how fast these days are going. The night that we took her crib down and put side rails on her big bed was one that I will forever remember. She watched Alan with so much curiosity. She was so proud to get to sleep in the big bed but you could also see the sadness that her crib was gone.
First night in her big girl bed with a llllll her "stuff"!
Watching daddy take down her crib and put her big girl bed rails on!

These pictures were taken on one of the nights that she had trouble falling asleep in her new bed so we broke the rules and let her sleep with us. Nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby.
And just a few pictures I took recently that make her look like she is 16 years old....
Mornings are hard.
First set of pigtails!!!!
And baby boy found Mommy's razor and cut his finger. Crazy how the tiniest cut will NOT stop bleeding. Two socks and an ace bandage later, I finally found a way to keep it covered without having to hold him down.  He got use to it wearing it and even cried when I took it off.
I took this picture because when I opened the door to get him out he looked SO BIG! My 14 month old baby. I will cry myself to sleep at night when he loses those baby rolls!
