Christmas Day 2019

The Magic of Christmas Morning!
"Don't Peek"
Christmas morning breakfast after opening presents.....watching The "Binch" (how John Collins says Grinch)!
Then on to our Christmas Day tradition of baking Jesus a birthday cake. I LOVE this tradition. Helps us bring our focus back to the reason for Christmas. Celebrating our Savior's birth. He entered the world as a tiny baby, born to save us. That is worth celebrating.
Visited the guards and took them some Christmas goodies for looking after us so well.
I hosted Christmas evening in our new home. My family came over for a steak dinner and of course, more presents! But the best part was all of us being together.
And we ended the day, celebrating Jesus.
Happy Birthday, Jesus. We love you!

Christmas Traditions

Alan and I have been going to the Santa Buffet at Shoal Creek since we started dating. It is such a special time with family to gather around the table for a meal together and of course seeing Santa is the cherry on top. Experiencing these times with our little ones is the sweetest. Memories to last and cherish forever.

Opening Christmas ornaments from GG!
Greystone Santa Buffet with the Cease crew. Another Christmas tradition that we love. Santa gives out presents personalized for each child and it is the highlight of the day! So sweet and fun!
Another special tradition, probably my most favorite, is Dawson's Carols by Candlelight. This is the first year that John Collins sat through the service. It was so special. Daddy had to work, but we were grateful regardless.
Baking Christmas goodies in the kitchen. A tradition that I hope carries on for years and years to come.
Our first annual trip to see The Nutcracker at Samford University Wright Center. We both LOVED it and will continue doing this in the future. Special times with my special girl.
Ornament I gifted her prior to going to watch the ballet performance.
Christmas traditions hold a special place in my heart. It gives us a comfort of remembering years past and a hope of love in the years to come. I will always cherish these moments.
