Dollywood for Spring Break 2021

Dollywood did not disappoint. Such a fun trip with Lollie and Poppie. We stayed at the Dollywood resort and went to the park two days. On our off day we ventured into downtown Gatlinburg to check out the aquarium. Highlight of the trip was the Pirates Voyage dinner show!!
Even being 30 weeks pregnant and constantly nauseated and exhausted a great time was had by all :)
The evening we arrived we planned on going indoor snow tubing. After one trip down the slopes both kids left crying hysterically. Alan and I left laughing hysterically because it was hilarious witnessing how fast and scary it was! We found a little mini amusement park that was much more their speed.
We checked into our room at Dollywood and hit the parks the next morning! So thankful that Lollie was there to ride the rides with the kiddos.  I couldn't ride most rides due to being pregnant and Alan couldn't ride them due to motion sickness. :) :)
Checking out the aquarium and exploring downtown Gatlinburg....
Best time at the Pirates Voyages Dinner Show!
Smores for desert after the show!
Last day was spent in the parks!
GREAT spring break 2021 spent in Dollywood!!!

Opening Day for the Angels

John Collins' is playing his second year of tee-ball this year! So incredibly cute. He only got to play two games last year due to covid so we were very excited to hit the ball field this year.
Let's play ball!

Caroline Catherine turns SIX

Cannot believe that our first born is turning six years old. What JOY she is to us.  At six years old she is wise beyond her years (very very street smart), sassy (very), sensitive, independent, and loving.  She loves  going to church, her tumble class, ballet/tap, and piano. She does not love any activities where you get hot and sweaty. :) She prefers the shade over the sun and to sit over standing. The ultimate girly girl!! She has enjoyed her kindergarten year but will be very glad with masks and social distancing are a thing of the past. She is <Finally> sleeping in her bed by herself all night long and is has lost her bottom two teeth with the top two to fall out any day now. She sleeps with her two loveys from infancy, her bunny pillow, cubby, pinkie, and kip, and Mr. Bear that my best friend from college gave her before she was born.
Her smile and cackle light up our lives and she still loves a good snuggle session. Ice cream and sweets are at the top of her favorite foods and she won't touch a vegetable....she is her father's daughter. She loves to sing and watch movies. She loves her brother (most of the time) and they are beginning to play very well together. It is so sweet watching their relationship grow.
It will be a big year for Caroline as she will gain a little sister in just two months. I have always dreamed that Caroline would have a sister one day. My sister and I are so close and she has been one of my biggest blessings and my biggest cheerleader my whole life. I pray that my girls will develop the same relationship and respect for one another. Nothing like a sister.
Soaking up everyday with her as they seem to be flying by. Happy 6th Birthday Caroline Catherine Cease.
WE LOVE YOU!
Birthday morning donuts before school!
Obligatory birthday picture before school!
At ballet on her birthday!
    Trip to Sugar after school!
To celebrate SIX Caroline chose a family birthday party followed by a SOLO trip with just Mom and Dad to Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia to adopt her very own cabbage patch doll.  It was such a fun trip with our big girl.
The first night in Cleveland we went to fun outdoor restaurant and enjoyed dinner and live music followed by ice cream of course.
The next morning we headed to the Babyland General Hospital to adopt a baby!!
Using her money that GG gave her for her birthday!
What fun. Taking my little girl where my parents took me as a little girl.
