The first day was spent shopping in Cashiers while the guys played golf. Caroline had a great time running around all the stores. We even found a toy store for her to play in and Lollie bought her a special treat!
That evening we enjoyed a delicious meal at Mica's. After dinner we headed over to the fire pit to roast marshmallows and make smores! Caroline loved it....especially getting to eat the finished product!
The next day the whole fam headed to Highlands for a day full of more shopping and a special lunch outdoors at Old Edwards Inn. The weather couldn't have been more perfect!
My little pumpkins!
Learning how to shop from the best!
Uncle Ed caught a little birdie. Caroline wasn't too sure about it.
Aunt Megs bought Caroline some yumme iiii-ceam. Girlfriend loved it.
Our lunch spot. So perfect.
Lollie offered to stay in and keep the babies so that we could have a relaxing dinner kid free. We were so appreciative! The Orchard was a fabulous dinner spot. But we had to get a picture with little miss priss before we left!
Morning snuggles on the back porch in our jammies were so relaxing. We have had a whirlwind of craziness the past few months and it was just so nice to embrace the peace and quiet.
Mouth full of muffins!
Our last day we hit up a few more hot spots in Cashiers one of which had a very large bear out front. Couldn't pass up the photo-op!
There were also goats! We loved feeding them leaves. And they actually ate them...ha!
We finished out the trip with the most incredible dinner at Canyon Kitchen. The most impressive views and the most delicious meal. It couldn't have been more perfect.
Thank you Lollie and Poppie for a wonderful trip!!!! We CANNOT WAIT to go back!
