Caroline's First Day of Dawson Day School 18mo

We enrolled Caroline in the MDO program at Dawson Baptist Church. She is in the 18 month class and attends on Tuesday and Thursday from 9am-1pm. She has only been two days so far and unfortunately they didn't go very well.  Many tears were shed from both Mommy and baby girl. Caroline has always been a huge Mommy's girl and I knew that this transition wasn't going to be easy on either of us. But we are going to stick with it and pray that she overcomes this separation anxiety and learns to love school and playing with all of her friends. I know that she will have so much fun if she can get past this! We took her to meet her teachers the week before she started and she LOVED it. Granted Alan and I were both sitting in the room the entire time. But she played her little heart out and even cried when we had to LEAVE.  

First Day of MDO 8/30/16 

After her first day of school Lollie and Poppie met us for ice cream at Edgewood Creamery! 

They share a mutual love for iiii ceeammmm! 

Second day of MDO! 

Hoping for less tears next week :)
