We started off our Easter weekend by celebrating my Great Grandmother's 95th birthday!!! How special she is to our family. We are thankful for her life and legacy and it was a joy to celebrate her!
The kids loved the family Easter egg hunt!
We went to the Vestavia library with some friends from church for a fun Spring Festival. Caroline's favorite part was the petting zoo. Despite her holding the baby chickens and almost squeezing them to death, it was a fun time had by all. :)
John Collins didn't really enjoy meeting the Easter bunny. Maybe next year....
We enjoyed hunting easter eggs and playing with out sweet neighborhood friends...
On "Easter Eve" we put on our bunny pjs and watched to see if we could see the Easter bunny!
Easter Morning!
And the best part of Easter was celebrating our risen Savior at a beautiful service at Dawson.
(had to document that Caroline found my lipstick while we were getting ready without me knowing and applied some onto her lips. Amazingly, she didn't get it anywhere but on her lips! She was so proud "Loook Mommy at my "wips"
We enjoyed lunch and the Easter Egg hunt at Shoal Creek with Alan's family.
Caroline loved her own private Easter egg hunt at Alan's parents house. She loved shaking the eggs and opening them up to see what was in them!
It was a busy busy weekend full of excitement and exhaustion!
