What's Up Doc?! Caroline's 2 Year Check Up

Caroline's two year old check up was not a fun one. No vaccinations, which was nice, but she was a sick girl with high fever.  These pictures of her are just pitiful but thanks to Dr. McCain, Caroline was feeling better in no time!
She had been running high fever for several days and the culprit was a nasty ear infection. This was only her second ear infection ever so we are very thankful for that.  Her 2 year check up was scheduled later in the week so we decided to knock it all out at once since we were already there. Sweet girl was such a trooper!
50% for weight at 26lb 11oz
90% for height at 2'11"
She wanted to measure her lovey like the nurse measured her :)
My long "string bean" :) If you knew me in Jr High you know where she gets it from!
The gloves provided quite the entertainment while we waited on test results.
At two years old Caroline is quite the chatter box. She is talking in two-three word sentences and will repeat ANYTHING you say to her. She is so very smart. Knows all her colors (and LOVES to go around telling you the colors of everything...that, that, that, that's a blue), sings her ABCs, counts to 10, recognizes her numbers, knows her basic shapes, and can sing several nursery rhymes (Johnny Johnny is our favorite right now).
She loves playing with her "makeup", watching "educational shows" on her iPad, playing outside at the park (sliding is her favorite), playing in her car in our backyard, playing with her cousins, bath time with bubbles and colored water, and playing kitchen.  She still is sleeping in her crib and is not the least bit interested in potty training. She love for me to brush her teeth and will NOT wear her hair in a ponytail. It's a shame because it is SO CUTE.  She is not the best eater right now and really only loves junk food (fruit snacks are her obsession). If she does eat it is usually grapes, bananas, chicken noodle soup, and mac-n-cheese.

Her sweet phrases are absolutely precious and melt my heart. The ones she says often are : Mommy, "dold" you! (for mommy, hold you), want Lovey/Paci (a million times a day), where's Daddy/where's Emme/where's John "Coyins"/where's Anna "Cott", I want some miuulk (milk), lub you Mommy, Ina go night night, sings everything to the tune of "daddy finger, daddy finger where are you", yes'mam (with the cutest accent), come'on mommy while motioning you to come with her,.

She makes my life sweeter every day and I still can't believe she is two.
