The day of her third birthday started off with pancakes topped with sprinkles and the "Happy Birthday" song after being greeted with balloons in bed :)
Since her birthday was on a Sunday this year, we then got dressed and ready for church. Then had a little birthday photo shoot!
After church, we had family lunch at Cocina since "chips" at the "restraint" is our girls favorite!
So glad that Granmom was in town to celebrate with us!
We skipped naps and took the birthday girl on a stroll down to Edgewood Creamery for her favorite ice cream!
We finished off the big day with a sweet celebration for Caroline and Alan at Lollie and Poppie's house! The night was full of balloons, cake and presents!
Trying to blow the candles out .. bless his sweet heart!
Princess with her new princess dresses!!
Immeasurably joy. That is what you bring us. Why time starts speeding up after you have children will always be a mystery to me. Bittersweet indeed. How we miss those days when you were a baby. Your giggles and coos. Your wobbly steps and messy meals. But as much heartache as it brings to watch you grow so quickly the joy surpasses it all. Each new stage of life with you is so exciting. You make us laugh every single day with your new words and gestures. You are independent but you never let us get too far out of your reach. Your heart is so kind and you love so big. You have an attitude that almost matches your mommas but I am proud of that. You will always take up for yourself and be a strong girl. You are silly, sweet and so much fun! You talk...all . the . time. We can have actual conversations with you and you amaze us with your vocabulary. There is no way in this world that I can express the depth of my love for you. You make me proud to be your Momma and I cannot wait to continue to watch you grow. Happy 3rd Birthday my girl.
