John Collins First Tee Ball Game!

THE CUTEST!!! This boy! He impressed us all at his first tee ball game. Ran for every ball, ran the bases like a pro, got in that ready position with the glove on the ground. SO proud of our little yankee! 

Caroline's 5th Princess Party!

A royal celebration for our Princess! It couldn't have been more perfect! Surprise visit from Cinderella herself surrounded by the sweetest of friends. 

I hope Caroline remembers this day forever!

Our big girl is FIVE!!! Things I don't want to forget about her at 5-  

-independent

-super smart

-talkative

-loving

-caring

-never wants me to leave her side (i.e. follows me around the house and freaks out if I leave the room)

-best big sister to her brother

-bossy and sassy all wrapped up in one

-loves family

-sweet tooth to the max

-girly and prissy and all things pink 

-not interested in any sports activity. at all. makes her legs hurt :) 

-super growny

-comes to our room and sleeps at the foot of our bed in her sleeping bag. every night

-loves going to church

-loves Mrs. Robin (her preschool teacher) and he sweet classmates 

She is everything in a daughter I dreamed and hoped for. God has truly blessed us with this precious life. Five came so fast but I am thankful for each day spent with her. She is our little "blondie" as her daddy calls her and my little "lu-lu."  I pray her love of life never fades.

Caroline's 5th Birthday!

5th Birthday Eve! Last sleep before she is a whole hand.... 

Balloon fairy came! Love this sweet birthday tradition! 

Birthday breakfast. Platter of powdered donuts. Her favorite! 

Sweet baby was sick on her birthday. Running high fever so we didn't get to have much family over to celebrate as planned. She was so upset that she couldn't go to school and celebrate with her friends so I tried to make the day as special as possible. Her birthday party was the next weekend but we celebrated the day away! We rolled her hair to get her all dressed up for a day of fun! 

5! How can it be. Wearing the dress her mommy and aunt wore when they were little girls.

Got to go pick out a few birthday hippies! 

Lunch at Shoal Creek with Poppy, Lollie, and Aunt Megs! 

And then dinner at Superior Grille (Birthday Girl's choice) with Granmommy and Grandaddy! 

And a cake celebration when we got home! 

Ice cream with the cousins a few days later after she was fever free!!!! 

It was a special day celebrating her precious life. She changed my world 5 years ago. I became aware of a love that is so deep it hurts. Praising God every day for the gift of Caroline Catherine Cease. These past 5 years have been full of the richest love and precious memories. Holding on tight because it's all going by so fast and I never want it to end!
