First (Solo) Family Vacation

We recently visited Chatanooga, TN and took our first family vacation as just the four of us! It went surprisingly well considering we were traveling and staying in a hotel with a 1 and 2 year old. Alan had the weekend off, and the kids had been getting a little stir crazy with all the cold weather, so we packed our bags and off we went. We had a great time and made memories as a family that I will forever cherish. Here is a re-cap of our trip.
The weather was perfect so we got to walk to all of our fun activities!
First stop....Chattanooga Tennessee Aquarium. Caroline's favorite fish was the shark.
Then we visited the Coolidge Park for a carousel ride and exploring the outdoors.
We went back to the hotel and played then napped for a bit.
After naps we headed out for dinner, saw some Christmas lights and ate ice cream!!
The next morning we headed to Rock City for a morning of (paved) hiking! It was a blast!
Before heading home we stopped and let the kids play off some energy at St. Elmo park!
We had a blast and although the kids will probably not remember this trip, I will cherish is forever.  I look forward to many more family vacations together with my crew. I am beyond thankful and blessed with this family of mine.
